Piano and Singing Performance Experience

With a Master’s Degree in Jazz Piano Studies from Indiana University, one of the nation’s top university schools of music performance, I have extensive experience in playing piano and singing. For parties and events I offer these musical styles:

  • Popular music with piano and voice
  • Instrumental Popular music (piano only)
  • Jazz piano (I can supply a jazz trio as well: piano, bass and drums.)

Select from a request list of 1,100 songs and 335 artists including:

  • The Beatles
  • Elton John
  • Billy Joel
  • James Taylor
  • Frank Sinatra
  • Stevie Wonder
  • Fleetwood Mac
  • Cat Stevens
  • Sting/The Police
  • Neil Diamond and many more

I began playing piano and singing professionally at the age of 17 so that my performance experience spans four decades during which time I have been hired for hundreds of private events. In addition from 2003-2018, I served as the exclusive musician for more than 1,000 evenings at the Swank Key Piano Bar at Marisol, a five star restaurant in Greensboro, NC.

My song arrangements have been described as “amazing” and “authentic” as I do not rely on commercial sheet music, but instead I craft my own detailed arrangements by ear, so that these many songs sound remarkably like the vintage recordings familiar to us.

With my piano and singing performance experience I guarantee the highest satisfaction!

Nine songs by The Byrds

Even though I play piano, the Byrds have always been on of my favorite singing groups. So I learned some guitar and gained performance experience playing in a classic rock band.
