All of these selections have been learned by ear.  Consequently they contain complete accompaniment by the piano.  In other words the features and passages unique to each song are preserved.  So each song sounds exactly like it is supposed to.

During my 15 years of playing at a piano bar in Greensboro, NC, guests often commented on how a song sounded so much like the original.  This surprised many listeners when the song did not have a piano in it but was instead led by guitars.  Yet more than any other instrument the piano has broad potential to sound very full in any song.

For example, even though a song may revolve around guitars, a guitarist can play no more than six notes at a time.  In contrast a piano has 88 keys.  And with a pedal, dozens of notes can sound at one time.  This creates the possibility of a piano to reproduce all the notes played on any other instrument at any time.  So a guitar song can easily be played on piano with all the right notes sounding exactly like the song should. And this is why a piano is such a valuable option to provide music entertainment when a band playing Classic Rock, Pop and R&B is too expensive.

I hope to have the opportunity to entertain you and your guests.
